I had the pleasure of photographing a Big Local charity event in Birmingham this year, capturing beautiful moments of connection, joy and community spirit. Big Local is an exciting initiative empowering residents in 150 communities across the UK, each given at least £1 million to create lasting change in their neighbourhoods. My aim was to document the warmth of the day through natural, heartfelt images that celebrate people coming together to make a difference.
